Introduction to English Contract Law
Roman is a solicitor-advocate of the Higher Courts of England and Wales and an arbitration specialist with extensive experience in national and cross-border disputes, particularly in shareholder and energy matters. Holding a Ph.D. in Conflict of Laws, he has acted in ICSID, LCIA, DIFC, ICC, AAA, and MKAS arbitrations and represented athletes before the Court of Arbitration for Sport. Dual qualified as a Solicitor Advocate in England and Wales and a Russian advocate, Roman also has rights in the AIFC Court in Kazakhstan. Roman regularly publishes on arbitration, with notable works including: “A Guide to the IBA Rules on the Taking of Evidence in International Arbitration” (2019), “Arbitration Law of Russia: Practice and Procedure” (2013), and contributions to various arbitration handbooks and journals.
